Over the last few months I've been watching the Arab Spring begin to bloom waaaay over there in the sand, with so many religion of peace-ers working hard ~ like this ~ to have the barbarism that is sharia law become the law of their stinky little lands, if it isn't already. I have to look at the whole thing objectively: I'd rather have sharia-wanters all living in smelly, squalid desert camps under the constant threat of horrible death by their benevolent dictators than roaming anywhere in the free world with so much as a soda straw. But don't worry. You'll be okay. They're all the way on the other side of the world. They'll never make it over here.
Did you hear the one about how over 80% of the mosques in the US are teaching anti-American, pro-jihadi poop? Of course, it was asserted way back in '02 that most mosques in the US were preaching anti-American hate, and ~ guess what ~ they're still up to it. After all the outreach to the poor terrified Muslim souls crouching in stairwells and basements all over this country ~ after all the sensitivity training we've had to bend over and take up our you-know-whats, they still hate us. There is no punch-line because it's not a joke.
And, hey; don't worry. They don't teach that shit at the mosque you drive by every day.
The French at les Invalides, as the Germans entered Paris on 14 June 1940... but the Germans were not after the guy in the grey pinstripes so I don't know what he's snivellin' about. At the time and place depicted in the photo, the flags of France were being removed so the Germans wouldn't take them as trophies. With hostilities commencing 10 May 1940, France was conquered in just over a month, pretty much without a fight, because they did not prepare to fight the German way of war. They were fooled. The French trusted in protection offered by the Maginot Line, a series of defensive positions built for WWI warfare. The Germans simply tricked the French into thinking they were attacking in one direction and then attacked in mass in the opposite direction, doing a brisk polka past the Maginot Line. Trusting in static defensive positions, which Patton called monuments to man's stupidity, the French were defeated by the new German tactics, which utilized air, tanks and infantry as a combined force in a rapidly forward-moving wave that crushed everything in its path.
Evidence swirling all around us strongly suggests that we're looking at a burgeoning problem just 'round the curve ahead in the time line: Muslims demanding special "rights" will stage more and more in-your-face events such as the one here in Dearborn, MI. Read this one, too; just so you can say you're all caught up on the issue.
Signs such as those being carried by the brave boy-lovers below are seen every day in just about every country in the EU. We will soon see them here.
And, oh; this gentle Muslim soul was there with him.
Speaking of tolerance, let's dissect the victim's story here to see if we can learn anything about how tolerance in the face of evil is at best denial and at worst a de facto suicide pact. The narrator says the victim is speaking out... to add her voice to those who confront sexual violence, to break [...] the code of silence. The real story starts at 2:55 so you can jump ahead if you want, but let's get one thing straight from the very beginning: Lara doesn't do any rape victims an ounce of good because these Muslim "men" were not driven by angry lust but by the despicable intolerance that is Islam and the hatred that has flowed from it for more than 1400 years.
Lara's too foolish to see that the violence committed against her was because she is a kufir woman, not because of the Egyptian version of what drives a "normal" rapist. She's not breaking the code which silences Muslim women who have been raped, because she's not Muslim, she can't possibly understand that code. She screams at 3:50, thinking they'll just put her down and shuffle off into the night, but it just cranks the evil up to another level. At 4:10, someone says she Israeli ~ Jewish ~ and the attack turns murderous.
She doesn't get it. She's talking about the rape as though it was a bunch of drunk frat boys when in fact the evidence suggests she was initially attacked because she was a Western woman and not dressed "modestly" as the men around her would have demanded. Once she is grabbed, it's clear that really mean hate speech began to pour from the mob of Muslim miscreants and their intent went from Let's fuck her because we're Muslim men and the only things we've fucked in our miserable lives has been adolescent boys and goats, to; Let's fuck her and fuck her up because she needs to be taught a lesson for refusing to put on her dusty ol' burka before someone let her out of her dank ol' house to; Oh, shit, she's a blondie, she must be a Jooooo. Let's kill this fuckin' bitch right now... and then we'll fuck her.
Little Lara needs to take her instruction from Pat Condell.
So, are you receiving me on this? Do you understand what I'm driving at? It seems likely that, if the pushy, aggressive Muslims won't back off and behave like law-abiding American citizens we may end up fighting them in the streets. In my opinion. I hope and pray that never happens but self-defense is a God-given right and well established in American law. Some of the fights might involve weapons and I've covered many scenarios here. But some of the struggles will be like the one Lara Logan suffered. So, perhaps it would be wise to prepare to be attacked by angry mobs, whether we're perky little reporters or bad-ass lumberjacks, and whether they're Muslims enjoying the spring air or thugs on a tear at a state-fair, or yoots busting and burning up merry old England.
I've been in lots of fights in my life, but never in one where it was just me against multiple attackers, so I need to defer to someone who's spent more time in this particular arena. Literally. I found some interesting stuff on Multiple Assailant Training by George Demertiou here, and some more interesting insight here. I strongly encourage you to take a good look at the options suggested by Demertiou at the provided links. His website is here, looks like.
Yes; a riot/attack on your person fueled by religious hatred is different than a bunch of guys trying to kick your ass over a parking spot: in a riot there may be dozens or even scores of people trying to beat you, kick you, drag you here and there, rape you, kill you. In a simple street fight, one or more of your assailants might be holding back because they don't want to go to jail behind a manslaughter or murder conviction. But when you're in the middle of a mob drowning in Islamo-rage, many of those savages believe the surest way to get to their version of paradise is to kill you. Raymond Ibrahim shows here how it's okay for Muslim men to attack and kidnap and rape kafir women. But not you, sweety; you just keep doin' what you're doin'. You're special.
So, some of the suggestions offered by Demertiou: Fighting is not static, it's not even dynamic, it's chaotic. Multiple Assailant fights are probably the most chaotic fight situation one can be in. It is also often life threatening. The key to defeating multiple assailants is believing you can. The bottom line of Multiple Assailant strategy is cause the chaos without becoming a part of it. In order to do this we must not only condition our bodies and minds, but our senses also. While some of the techniques and principles discussed below may seem brutal, they are often necessitated by the dynamics of the situation itself. Remember, in Multiple Assailant attacks the defenders goal is often survival itself.
We have to start multiple attacker training by changing the way we think. Instructors often train people not to lose as opposed to training them to win. There are three possible mind sets:
1) I'm going to lose
2) I'll take as many as I can (this is the same as "I'll lose, but I'll take some of them with me") or
3) I'm going to win (survive).
Choice #3 is the only acceptable mind set. Survival is the ultimate goal. You survive by winning.
Ideally you want to fight a psychological battle as well as a physical one. If feasible you want to try to identify the leader of the group and take him out of the fight quickly and decisively. Techniques such as finger jabs to an eye or breaking a bone often have the psychological as well as physical effect you'll need.
If you can't neutralize the leader, immediately try to take away his leadership by showing the rest of the group he can't protect them. It's actually better in a multiple assailant situation not to try to knock everyone out. Rather, try to make attackers scream and run or announce their injury, such as "I can't see" or "my leg is broken"! This often will cause others to retreat thereby ending the confrontation earlier and with less force than might otherwise be necessary.
Use compact, short and choppy strikes ~ remember we talked about those here ~ while moving. Just as more isn't always better, harder is not always better either. Short, compact and penetrating motions work much better than wide sweeping motions do. Strikes and kicks you can't avoid - block. What you can't block-roll off of. What you can't roll off or jam. Move fluidly, but erratically. Don't be predictable.
Just before an attack there is usually a sign, if not several, that an assault is imminent. Recognizing these indicators will reduce the chances of a "surprise" attack.
Raspiness in voice: Stress makes the vocal chords tighten, making the voice raspy.
Repeated phrases: When someone is thinking of how to attack you it's difficult for them to be verbally creative.
Unusual sweating (stress sweat): Sweating on a cold day. Sweat on nose, sides of mouth or palms.
Tightening of jaw/clenching teeth: Pre-fight facial tensions will cause jaw muscle to bulge.
Mouth breathing: Taking in air through mouth instead of nose.
Weight shifting: Attacker will often shift weight in preparation of a "surprise" attack. Usually shift will favor one side.
Fist clenching (pumping): When stress causes blood to move away from extremities an assailant will often pump his fists to regain the "normal" feeling in his hands.
Shoulders roll forward, chin drops, knees bend: Old animal instincts we retained. These three things are usually done together for protection purposes when anticipating a fight.
Target glancing: An attacker will often look several times at the area he wants to strike.
Reaction hand distraction: An assailant may point to something to distract you so he can strike with his other hand. He may ask you the time so he can strike while you look at your watch.
Positioning relative to each other: When one person in the group moves, the others set up accordingly.
Potential Attackers glance at each other often: They're silently communicating to each other, waiting for the attack signal.
Word or words that don't quite make sense: An attacker may say something that will momentarily confuse you. In that moment of trying to figure out what was said or what was meant the group attacks.
Unusual body language: An attacker may engage you in conversation then wipe his hair back, remove his hat or tug on his ear as a signal for his wolf pack to attack.
You have to fight well ambidextrously. You will want to train so that you are effective and comfortable whether your right or left side is forward. When you're surrounded you can't favor one side.
I've read and have heard instructors say, "In a multiple situation don't go to the ground, you won't be able to protect yourself against the group." Ideally you want to fight multiple assailants while being on your feet, but you may get knocked down because you're fighting a group. In a perfect world you wouldn't hit the ground, but you shouldn't train for the perfect world. Techniques should include falling, defense against kicks and stomps and safely getting up. Confrontationals that start with the good guy on the ground and the "attackers" standing should also be performed.
The gang, by nature, is chaotic and that can be used against them. Remember, you want to cause the chaos without becoming a part of it. Ideally, you want to fight instinctively yet strategize and analyze. You have to be able to think on an unconscious and conscious level. With proper training your mind and body will work together to the point that you will plan at moments of the battle and at other moments you'll react correctly without thought at all. Changing the odds in your favor when out-numbered during a violent confrontation is a matter of realistically training and conditioning specifically for multiple combat.
