Honor killers

Yea, right.  Whatever.

Here's how too many Westernized moderate Muslims think it's okay to behave.  And we have to just take it.

Hey, is it just me or is anyone else out there thinking if he's such a good guy, if what he did is such an honorable deed, then why doesn't he surrender to the cops, have his day in court and educate us all throughout the trial about how backward we are for cherishing our women here in the west, especially our daughters.

Listen to the tape of Sarah crying out for help with her dying breath and then try to pretend this is not something that matters.

In Canada, they blame it on domestic violence.

In 1999, the first such murder was committed in the US.  Here's the angle.

The listings for this savagery and how it's becoming more and more common in the EU are too great in number to post here.  Do your own homework on this one.  These murderers who call themselves men should be tied to the carcasses of swine and eaten alive slowly by the maggots.

You want to know something you can do?

Here are a few options ~ your choice as always.

If you see a man or men assaulting or attempting to use force against a woman, call the police immediately.  Stay there, don't walk or drive away. 

Be a good witness. Make noise so they see you seeing them. Write down license plates, take pictures with your freakin' cell phone camera. If they won't stop and you're armed then you need to do some quick math. Will you have a reasonable man defense if what you're about to do ends up in court? Will you be able to explain the totality of your circumstances at the time to people who were not there at the time to see what you did? Know what your state laws say about what constitutes assault, brandishing a weapon, when citizen's arrest is permissible.

If they leave the scene with the girl, maybe it would be a good idea to follow them from a safe distance and call the cops and get them ASAPing to where you are.

Or, how about this? Using your super-powers for good and not evil, go on a mission to protect sweet Muslim girls who just want to grow up as free women, unafraid of being brutally murdered by those who are supposed to love them most and protect them. Yea; you can take them in and protect them rather than just feel bad about it their pain and death and vent at some blog about when will it stop.

And it's not just about them being murdered.  If you're not up to speed on how these women are brutalized, physically and emotionally, then read this.

Every city and town in the US should have brave women and men on a bold mission to shelter and protect these young girls and women ~ until there's nothing to worry about anymore.

Or you can do nothing.

Then, will you be able to live with your shame the next time a precious 'desert rose' is found dead in a shallow grave or dumped at the curb or stuffed into the back of a cab with her dead sister because you didn't want to get involved, because you didn't want people to call you a racist or an islamophobe?

At least check this site out and see how you might get involved.

Update: It's been a few days since I posted this and through those days I've read many different blogs with comments from many, many readers. While most of the  blog authors have done a great service by shining light on the horror of honor killing, too too too many of the commenters only complain that the main-stream media hasn't covered this story and probably won't and... yadda, yadda, yadda.   

Over on the left side here is my Pages section. Under that heading you'll see Running from "honor" killers?  I want to challenge readers here who feel justifiable anger about honor killing and frustration because they don't know what they can do.  You can do what I suggested above.  You can add a section to your blog as I've added to mine.  If you live in the Seattle area, contact me and we can work together if a girl in this area is threatened.  Get with your teen-age daughters and sons and find out how to reach out to scared Muslim girls through MySpace or FaceBook.  If some predators can use it to take advantage of girls, we can use it for good.  Come on, let's make a difference.   

Whatever you decide, you'd better be unerschrocken, baby.

Undaunted, put my name on that list.I spent five years in the Middle East and I know how and what monsters these people are.
Being shot at and death threats are old hat to me, I was a SAS/MSP Officer for almost twenty years. My blood runs cold thinking of these "honor killings" and the children and young women it is done to.
Thank GOD I no longer am in that business, but somethings you can't but wish....
